WHAT IS POKE?
Poke is a traditional Hawaiian dish consisting of cubed fish. While the dish has recently gained popularity in the mainland, it has been a cherished part of Hawaiian culture for nearly four decades. Blue Hill Bay’s Poke Bowls are a twist on the original poke idea, with smoked fish instead of fresh fish. This adds a unique flavor enhancement. It is served in two varieties, smoked salmon and smoked tuna. The Poke Bowls include poke seasoning and poke sauce, as well as a packet of pre-cooked rice that just needs to be heated in the microwave. It is ready in 60 seconds for a complete meal or snack!
HOW DO YOU PREPARE THE POKE BOWLS?
Our Poke Bowls can be prepared in four simple steps. First, remove the ingredients from the bowl and tear the top of the rice packet 1” to vent. Then microwave only the rice on high for 45-60 seconds or until the rice is warm. Next, dispense the rice into the Poke Bowl and fluff with a fork. Finally, separate the smoked tuna or smoked salmon cubes and add them to the rice along with the poke sauce. Top with the dry seasonings packet and enjoy!

WHAT IS THE BEST PRACTICE FOR HEATING UP THE RICE?
Tear the top of the rice pouch 1 inch, allowing room for the rice to vent, and then place the contents in the microwave on high for 45-60 seconds. Please note the heating time will vary based on your microwave’s wattage.
IS THE PRODUCT KOSHER?
Yes, the Blue Hill Bay Poke Bowls are certified Kosher by KOF-K.
All other Blue Hill Bay brand products are also certified Kosher by KOF-K (see product packaging for details).
IS IT OKAY TO ENJOY POKE AFTER THE "BEST BY" DATE?
We do not recommend enjoying Blue Hill Bay Poke Bowls after the “Best By” date printed on the product’s packaging.
WHERE IS THE SEAFOOD IN THE BLUE HILL BAY POKE BOWLS SOURCED FROM?
Blue Hill Bay sources salmon from various origins depending on retailer-specific sourcing guidelines. This includes Monterey Seafood Watch Green-rated salmon from Denmark, Scottish salmon raised to the Whole Foods Market standards, or BAP 3-star rated salmon from Chile. BAP is a third-party aquaculture certification dedicated to improving environmental, economic and social performance across the aquaculture supply chain.
The dolphin-safe, wild, line caught Ahi Tuna is fished from the waters of Indonesia.
